3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy yellow/gold color with a medium white head. Sweet citrusy aroma. Sweet, but not overly so. Flavor of citrus and spices(coriander?). Hides
the alcohol content very well. Another
winner from Unibroue.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice frothy white head that diminished fairly quickly. Hazy pale orange body. Sensed malty breadlike aromas, along with citrus and pine. Slides through your mouth, you donít drink it,it escapes down your throat. Sweet and citrus gives way to a pleasant bitter aftertaste

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2005 On tap at the Maple Tree Inn, La Fin du Monde has a lower level of carbonation than the bottled version, but the taste & aroma hold true. A hazy golden body with a sustained white, frothy head, it greetes you with a mildly fruity aroma. Thereís a definite alcohol presence, toffeed malt, with a citric, peppery finish. I like Unibroue. They do interesting, tasty things.

Poures hazy gold edging on copper, high carb with a white fluffy head. Plums, citrus, spices and a touch of alcohol in the aroma. Smooth medium-full mouthfeel. Fruity start, with light yeasty bread flavour, light spices and citrus in finish. Nice stuff.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
I tried this beer back a few months ago hearing that Unibroue makes some of the best beer in Canada, itís a high percentage beer, but I didnít really like it, it has a really sweet taste which reminded me of black licorish. Itís easy to get drunk off this beer, but just not my cup of tea, or in this case, glass of beer.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: pours a bright straw yellow with a white head, light effervescence and a slight chill haze. Head retention is low and the lace is full and sticky.
Aroma: tart, hoppy, fruity esters and bubblegum.
Taste: smooth and sweet and peppery with a hop bite and a dry tart finish.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied, creamy, smooth, crisp, low in effervescence, and a lasting astringent bitterness.
IMHO: A good representation of the style, but a Duvel beats it on many fronts.
