I could smell the yeast immediately after opening the bottle. Poured hazy orange into the glass with a dense persistent head. The aroma reminds me of when I used to wake up at 5 am to make pizza dough for the local pizza place. Soft bannana ester and spicy character with a slighlty sweet (honey) flavor. Full body with a crisp bitter finish rounds out this fantastic beer.

Exciting is one adjective to describe this wonderful beverage. One drink and the taste seemed to wake the palate after so many boring beers. Try it, like it, love it. Cheers.

Pours cloudy yellow/amber with a small head. Tastes of bananas and coriander. Yet another great beer from this great brewer.

A Superb Ale! Fruity aroma, light spices, and a smooth golden colour. Great Overall! This is my first ale from Unibroue, but I look forward to challenging more of their ales. I don’t know when I’ll be fortunate enough to try it again, but I hope to continuelly witness the ’end of the world!’

Very hoppy and bitter taste, Light in color and a sour taste is left in the mouth. Not the best from this brewry, but I can see why they call it " the end of the world"

Bottle. Lightly troubled deep golden color, lots of bubbles with big white foamy head that leaves lacings on the glass. Yeast aroma. The taste was wheat, yeast and a big after taste of wood but, when the beer got warmer it was different. Becomes more fruity, honey, sugary and alcohol at the finish. Refreshing, good carbonation, well balanced, wanted to get one more.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2005 2004 bottle: Aww that wonderful aroma of an abbey tripel. Kind of like a mesh of putrid pear and banana. Has a thin head that lays out flat and is golden yellow with a small amount of haze resting through out the liquid. Flavor is a little soapy and includes a dosage of alcohol behind the robust taste of unripe pear and green apples. Some spice added as wel being of clove and pepper.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy dark orange colour. Big foamy head- Sweet, malty (north-american), orangey, spicy nose. Sweet, malty, fruity, orangey taste. Some yeastiness and chocolate, especially in the finish. Sweet maltiness dominates. Different from Belgian tripels, where often the spices dominate.Reminded me strongly of Stone Vertical Epic. Excellent. Thanks to yogi_beera and pivo for this awesome brew.

12 oz bottle. pours a hazy golden yellow, with a large, but quickyl disappearing white bubbly head. aroma is sour and yeasty. flavor is spicy (cloves, etc) and malty, with a yeasty finish. pretty good, but not my favorite style. good carbonated mouthfeel.
