"The end of the world. The excellence of triple fermentation through a blend of special yeasts gives this malt beverage an exquisitely robust flavor of exceptional refinement."

It does fit the style quite well. The sweetness and alcohol shine through. As with alot of unibroue products sometimes you get a good bottle sometimes you don't. On a good bottle pours a large white quickly deminishing head. Lots of particles. Easy enough to drink despite the prevailent alcohol. Better than most beers you'll find at the corner store.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2007 November 2007. Hazy golden yellow body with a big billowy white head. Aroma is yeasty and alcoholic, light underlying notes of dry lemony citrus and muted wisps of peppery spice in both the flavour and the aroma. Alcohol is a touch prominent when you first start but mellows wonderfully as the glass goes on. Has the basic characteristics of a Belgian tripel - dry alcohol balanced by sweet pale malt with moderate hop bitterness and light spicy notes. Smooth medium palate is fairly effervescent, pleasantly so. Fairly drinkable, though the dry alcohol occasionally snaps you back to attention. 8/4/8/4/16 <P>July 2003. Bottle. Can kind of smell the alcohol in the aroma, and taste it a tiny bit at first. The alcohol sticks out more as it warms. Goes down easy enough for me to polish off a six pack in a night, and strong enough for me to regret that fact in the morning. just a hint of bitter, and some spices especially in the aftertaste.. 8/4/8/4/16

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2003 Yellowish color, with a small head that left no lacing. Somewhat carbonated, with a sweet citrus, sour taste to it.

Cloudy yellow gold color. Tall white head. Fruity aroma. Starts with a crisp dry malty flavor and endis in a ripe fruity flavor with hints of candy sugar. Has a slight sour apple flavor, and a slight touch of bananna. Another delicious offering from Unibroue.

Lots of foamy head. Beer is orange-yellow or light golden in color. Head contains very large bubbles that linger. The aroma and flavor is of straw and grass. Alcohol is well hidden, but i'm not a fan of the blondes. Sampled at 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cloudy gold color with a big white head. Lots of yeast. Fruity esters: banana and some citrus. Similar flavor. Clean finish. Well-hidden 9%. The end of the world isn't a big Belgian blonde from Quebec, but it isnt too far off though.

Big, pure white head with some scattered laceing. Hazey pale blonde color. Sulfury, yeasty nose, some breadiness also. Light/medium body. Big carbonation, spritsey. Soft malt flavors, fruity, some bubble gum notes with some coriander flavors too. Tart, dry finish. 9% alc. is well hidden. A nice big blonde ale, the end of the world? NAAAAAA, but i do like nice big blondes!

Color a pale, cloudy yellow color with yeast floating around, nice white frothy head leaving clingy, patchy lace. Smells of lemon and tropical fruit, banana, with a hint of spice and sweet bitterness. Taste is more of the same, citrusy and tropically smooth and clean with a spicy lemon dry finish thats warming from the alcohol. Feel is medium body sweet and fruity flavors that dry out, nice, crisp and clean finish with warming qualities from alcohol. Pretty drinkable but is a sipper, 9%, it'll sneak up on you for sure

UPDATED: APR 21, 2006 Citric aroma. Pale cloudy yellow, champagne bubbles, white soap head. Citrus, yeast and some low key belgian funk. Also some ethanol and phenolic notes. Deceivingly light body makes you go to the end of the world...eh...bottle fast.
