"The end of the world. The excellence of triple fermentation through a blend of special yeasts gives this malt beverage an exquisitely robust flavor of exceptional refinement."

Poured a wonderfull yellow haze with a fluffy head and good lacing. Soft on the palate, this was full of apricots and spices. Yeasty, tangy, a little alcohol apparent. One of the best of the triple style

Straw colored with little head. This beer had tons of carbonation, and lots of stuff floating in amongst the bubbles. Mouthfeel was thick, boardering on chewy, which was bit of a surprise. Tastes were bananna and cloves, which I expected. The presence of hop bitterness, taste, or aroma was negligible. The ABV was very, very well masked except for a tingle on the tongue and a warming of the gut. Overall this beer was pretty good, but could use some more assertiveness on the hop end of the spectrum.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2003 Hazy dark yellow in color, the bubbly head dissappated rather quickly to just a little foam around the edge of the glass, lots of different fruity characterists in the nose, has quite a bit of undertones similar to a Belgian Wit beer, some hints of sour veggies in the flavors, very well balanced though, I guess it"s drinkable if you are into this brewer"s beers, but I guess I just don"t care for Unibroue"s stuff

Interesting aroma, is pale yellow in appearance and quite cloudy. Has a complex flavour, spicy aftertaste that would be similar to Leffe Blond. Even though it is quite stong, you canít really taste the alcohol. Satisfying - recommended.

Oh how sweet The End of The World is - no Iím not a freakiní nihilist, I just like the beer. Very traditionally Belgian, and very traditional Unibroue, but the thing I found that sets this apart from others is the apparent nuttiness in the yeast. The remarkable smoothness of the yeast with the fruity esters is very appealing, almost like a hazelnut/peach combonation. Not my favorite from Unibroue but very nice.

Great banana - muesli aroma with squeze of lemon, but I smelled better in some other beers. Slightly hazy yellowish look got some carbonation, white head. Strong drink but alcohol was blended in great way. Yeasty, acidic plus alcohol. Nice mix. Thanks Doug!

Cloudy straw-yellow color.Yeast and citrus notes dominate. Refreshing and fun to drink. Alcohol isnít even noticeable. A very good beer, certainly worth having again.

A very dry Belgian Tripel, not as heavy or sweet as some of them are. The flavor is refreshing, citrusy, and the alcohol is masked well. Essence of apples.
