Bottle. Hazy golden pour with a nice frothy head. Aroma is sweet; light fruit, pear, citrus, bubblegum and a little spice. Similar flavor with the 9% abv showing up for the finish. Flavor is actually a bit too sweet for my taste.

Color is golden, cloudy. Smell is too complex for me to sort out, but I put it fruity, flowery, with a mediciney/solvent sort of background. Taste is sweet, acidic fruits, very minor bitterness, warming if you hold it on the tongue. Moderate carbonation, sort of dry finish. Very good

FRom 750ml bottle. Smells of orange peel and clove. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. High carbonation. Flavors of orange, cloves, spices, yeast. And the flavor lingers for a long time. This is a great beer!

A - 750ml bottle Pours a cloudy pale yellow color, tons of carbonation, very nice white foamy head, tons of lacing throughout the drink. S - Scents of malts, yeast, citrus, and some spices. T - The taste is sweet but tangy, with a nice dry finish. The alcohol content is hidden very well. M - Medium body, nice carbonated feel, well rounded brew. D - Very drinkable. Another excellent brew from Unibroue. Would highly recommend and buy again.

Pours a pale straw yellow with a white finger and a half head.Poured into a tulip glass. Clove yeasty flavor much like a German or Bavarian hef but much cleaner. for an 9% alc brew this hides it very dangerously. This has the clean Canadian crispness with the Bavarian purity drinkability all wrapped in one beer!

96 is a very high score, despite many who hate this beer. I would have rated it a lot lower a few years ago. Because my tastes has changed. Also, because now I know it is MADE TO BE DRANK WARMER than usual beers. 8 or 10 degrees celcius, around 45 farenheit. Then you’ll discover the flavors that are smoothly fruity and both sugary, with not much bitterness. It is a great beer to me, and I am saving some for aging. They say 5 years potential in a Unibroue booklet I got in a special package.
