Nice golden pour with a huge white head and a nice big amount of lacing left behind. Fruity smell with a big flavor of bubblegum and fruit with some wheat thrown in as well. Tasty little ale, would definitely drink again. This was the beer I chose to ring in the new year with, hope the name is no indicator of what will happen in 09! thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA

The aroma is yeast, wheat, spices, and some fruit. Flavor is sweet and malty at first, followed by spices, a slight bitterness, and a dry aftertaste. Lively carbonation on the tongue. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 28, 2008 750 ml. bottle. Pours a deep cloudy yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. Very typical belgian aroma of yeast, some wheat, fruitiness and spices. Tastes very sweet. Apricot and pear, slight alcohol warmth, a good deal of bready malt and a hint of spices. Some hop bitterness is present. Flavor is better than the aroma suggests. Medium bodied with a frothy, carbonated mouthfeel. Lingering soapy belgian funkiness.
