| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 3, 2008 Pours milky peach with lots of head, some lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, banana, black pepper, citrus hops like orange glazed dinner rolls. Flavor is hearty but candy like, lemon heads, banana bread, cloves, sweet anise, a little bitter hops and root beer maltiness to finish. Mouthfeel’s a little thin for a triple but not a bad beer all around. JuStuka (187), Edo De Mex, Mexico

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Pours hazy gold with white head that doesn’t stick around. Slight banana aroma over hops. Nice crisp banana-bubblegum flavor with a decent amount of carbonation and a definite alcohol kick. Good balance and the lacing, as usual for Unibroue, is amazing. v64 (74), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Very nice, malty, banana-like aroma. Fairly thick head, pours an opaque gold color. Delicious taste, predominantly fruity, masks the alcohol fairly well for this style. A bit too carbonated for my taste. Usually tripels are too strong for me, but this one is incredibly balanced, an all around great drink. dwaggs2 (536), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours a darker orange copper color. Has sediment in the bottle and leaves lacing on the glass. Very sweet taste that has hints of fruit, like raisan and plum. The alcohol is also present in the beer, as it leaves a light warming sensation. Very carbonated beer. A decent beer. dolemite77 (184), Maryville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Pours hazy orange under a thin white head. Aroma is yeasty and sweet, with alcohol present. Flavors are sweet on the front, with moderate alcohol, finish is slightly bitter, with herbal notes. Some woody notes from the subdued hops, but mostly the yeast takes center stage, bringing out the flavors of this malty beer. Mouthfeel is thicker than expected, with just about the right amount of carbonation (Unibroue sometimes seems over carbonated to me). danielyabu (285), União da Vitória, Brazil
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2008 A lovely head over a hazed golden color pour. Big blast of spice and bread in the aroma. Cloves and coriander dominate the nice mouth filling start. Bread with hops are the underlying tones. Nice representation of the style; though, a bit toward the high spiced end. Nice job.
