More subtle and juicy then a lot of great tripels. Really not as excitign but very clean and tasty. A sipper but still easy to drink. Pear juice apparent.

Pours a hazy peach with a medium white head. Aroma is yeast, banana, mango and white grape. Taste is sweet up front with yeasty floral goodness following and a nice clean finish. Creamy with medium carbonation. Very easy to drink and absolutely delicious.

0.355l bottle @ Rattle N Hum. This is a light cloudy orange with a small off-white top. It has a trippel nose with some banana and yeast, light traces of flowers and alcohol. Lovely flavors! Itís about average on the carbonation perhaps average+ and it has a oily mouthfel. The taste is clean and classic with Belgian yeast, more banana, a bit like a golden ale with some alcohol and Christmas spices in the finish. Lots of flavor and quite a tasty little treat bought to us by a really talksome guy at the bar that insisted that this is the best beer in the whole world and that we just have to try it. 13.06.2013

Pours a slightly cloudy gold with white head, not much lacing. Coriander, wheat, and spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some spice.

Pours cloudy yellow. Massive head, moderate lacing. Aroma banana, cloves, skunk. Medium sour taste with notes of oranges, banana, clove and apricot. Full body with barely noticeable carbonation. Texture is half creamy, half sticky. Finishes long and sour. An excellent example of the style.

Appearance 4/5 - The beer is a nice amber orange clear color with a white thick head that leaves a nice lacing. Very majestic looking bottle. Smell 9/10 - Nice belgian yeasty smell with bready, fruity notes. Banana, orange, cereal. Smells like candy in beer form :) Taste 9/10 - Same belgian yeasty/bready notes in the taste as in the smell. Banana, orange, white pepper. Palate 4/5 - Great mouthfeel, light - medium with slight alcohol warmth. Aftertaste is sweet bready banana. Very clean beer. Overall 17/20 - Probably the best belgian strong pale ale that Iíve had. Itís pretty amazing.

Delicious smell, yeast and hay. Decent head (enjoyed from a tap), but a very clear color. Sparkles with cirrus and honey notes, finishes great and cleanses he palate.

Aroma: yeast, sour, caramel, hay, flowers. Appearance: hazy pale gold, medium creamy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light sweets continue, some light bitters lingering in the background, nice balance, malty sweets, bread, caramel, low carbonation. Overall: fantastic Abbey Tripel, well balanced aroma and palate. Bottle from Drinks of the World Zurich HB, Switzerland.
