Bottle, lovely gold-orange color with nice white head. Nose is sweet, yeasty, fruity with ripe orange notes. Sweet flavor on super-lively carbonation with booziness showing through a bit much. Sweet, strong and impractical.

A rich, yeasty concoction. It’s light and fruity, and finishes with a quite a twang. A great brew, but there are other Unibroue offerings that I like even more.

Flaske.

This beer is an experience. Pours a hazy gold with a lively head and active carbonation. The smell is ripe with fruit, yeast and spice. The taste is tart and refreshing at the same time.

Pours an opaque, bubbly golden color with a white head that doesn’t fade. The aroma is lightly fruity, yeasty, lightly spicy and a bit musty. Taste is similar with a nice refreshing lemony flavor. Quite lively carbonation. Overall a nice refreshing summer beer with hardly any hint of the ABV.

Bottle: Pours a dusty and cloudy blonde with a large, frothy white head. Aroma is light and fruity. Some bits of florals and spice. Flavor presents a little bit of yeast and typical spices. Light fruitiness and hints of apple. Not real intense, other than the heavy carbonation. Just wasn’t feeling this one.

This is an old bottle - best before date on bottle says 2002 and it’s 2008. Giving it a shot anyway. Pours a cloudy gold. Lemon hint in the aroma, along with some apple. Drinking out of the style glass they recommend which I’m sure helps the aroma. Sweet flavor, very drinkable. A bit fizzy and somewhat refreshing, a nice summer beer. Better than I thought it was going to be.
