Pours a murky yellow with a nice finger of white froth. I have to comment on the insane carbonation, it looks like a fountain coming off of the etching in my Sam Adams Sensory glass.
Smells of bread. Some citrus character but not hoppy citrus, more like orange peel? Very clovey.
Tastes very spicy, pretty dry on the finish. Orange ester is present again.
Mouth is extremely high carbonated, so much so that I had difficulty detecting the body, which is somewhere in the middle by the way.
Overall as far as tripels go I much prefer the St. Bernardus but even that is comparing apples to oranges, this is a very spicy example. PolishHammer (64), , Connecticut, USA

Puours a golden color, with a touch of haze, but pretty clear. White head of average size. Flavor is on the sweet side, but is not cloying in any way. An approachable tripel for those who aren’t wrapped up in what the style is supposed to tast like. In other wrods, there were no strong wheat, alcohol or licorice flavors. As with all Unibroue beers, extremely affordable! vikingbeercbus (34), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Pours a golden yellow-brown with a full 1.5 inch head that dissipates quickly to a thin sparkly head. Nose is faint, general citrus and acid. Taste is complex, moving to a mix of lemon, clove, that dances in the mouth. The triple fermentation is well worth it, as the taste lingers on my palate crisply. Aromas of strawberries and bananas, unibroue yeast, coriander and cloves and alcohol. Taste is spicy-alcohol with banana yeast that lingers for a while. A beautiful beer, quebec pride.
