Petite bouteille.

Pours hazy gold with frothy white head with decent retention and attractive lacing. Aroma is orange, honey, grass, spice. Evolves on the palate with lemon, coriander and biscuit notes joining the others. Satisfying mouthfeel, full but not filling, ebullient but not overpowering carbonation. If this is thin and flat at your local, blame your local. Everything one wants beer to be, but hardly ever is. We can quibble about whether La Fin du Monde is the best beer in the world, or merely the best in North America, where it’s main challengers are within Québec, and for that matter, in-house.

Pretty perfect in every category. Fantastic balance. Alcohol is masked with complex, sweet malt flavors

It could be that it is not what I was expecting, but despite the beautiful head, appealing aroma and a juice like appearance the spice was overwhelming and didn't seem to mesh with the underlying fruitiness. It's akin to blindly choosing ingredients from the cupboard; despite the quality of individual ingredients, it just calls that it could have been more.

Hazy greyish golden, light white head, creamy and frothy crust. Nose is thankful crisp lemon and brassy yeast. Creamy tangy initial swing, soft fudgey sweetness and a brusque carbonation. Finishes lean blueberry and linger of fresh peeled tangerine before shoved into an undercooked Victoria sponge.

Bottle, 10pm Curfew Tasting

Bottle. Golden with white head. Aroma of cereal, caramel and yeast. Taste is yeasty, peppery, cereal. Dry and a little bitter
