"The end of the world. The excellence of triple fermentation through a blend of special yeasts gives this malt beverage an exquisitely robust flavor of exceptional refinement."

Pours a bright, cloudy yellow with a fizzy looking, quickly fading white head. Pleasing aroma has banana, pineapple, spices, and honey. As happy as I am with the taste, I am even more so with the flavor. It has a spicy notes, clove, banana, and lots of Belgian yeast. Slightly sour and dry when drinking, with a spicy, yeasty aftertaste. Medium bodied with a foamy texture, as well as fizzy carbonation. The alcohol content hides itself well here. It really doesn’t feel or taste like a 9% beer. It feels very Belgian altogether. This is a very good beer.

Draught at Gordon Ramsay’s Burger bar in Las Vegas. Pours a cloudy honey colour with small white head. Sweet nose of honey, peach and maybe some orange. Taste hits the spot. Creamy mouthfeel with notes of orange peel, peach, yeast and some light spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

341ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Hazy gold body with a foamy thick head, almost creamy. Notes of orange zest and coriander, some yeasty funk, minimal.alcohol notes, vanilla and clove. A little bit of floral hop presence. Alcohol brings quite a bit of warmth which is nice as it isn’t overpowering and feels quite balanced. Mid glass I noticed more malt based flavors like cereal and found some minimal sweetness. Quite full bodied.

Pleasant malty aroma. First sip is alcohol and yeast. A very powerful beer. It remains yeasty and malty. This is a very good beer, but its definitely hard to drink more than one. Probably would not pair well with food. wow.

Hazy golden with white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Nice complex flavor that doesn’t scream 9% ABV.

"lighter fare than the Mudite or Trois, light golden with a quickly dissapating white head...more drinkable. very champagne like with the carbonation and mouthfeel. hides 9% really well at first (thought i was drinking a weizen with the lighter flavor profile), but it evolves into a refreshingly hearty triple. the spices are all there, but less aggressive than in some of their other beers. nice."

330ml bottle served in a tulip glass. My 50th review, with class... ;) A: Pours a yellow to orange golden color. Bit cloudy. Forms a medium bubbled head with low retention and very few lacings left S: Smell is sweet, grainy and quite spicy. Complex. Notes of cinnamon, coriander, honey, pepper, vanilla, orange zest, flowery hops and yeasts. Malts backbone. A bit of alcohol in the very end T: Complex as the nose: Sweet, grainy and spicy upfront. Again, notes of honey, coriander, cinnamon, vanilla, malts, pepper, orange zest and bready-earthy yeasts. Mild bitter finish M: Heavy body. Creamy and molasses. Medium carbonation. Bittersweet aftertaste which is also quite spicy O: good beer. Perhaps a little bit too spicy. Quite different from the Belgian Tripels I’ve tasted. Strong Unibroue character [ BA Review @ 1/30/2010 ]

I go out of my way to find this stuff. La Fin Du Monde is sweet, balanced, and strong. It’s one of my absolute favorite beers.

Quite tolerable and quaffable for a Tripel. Pours an unfiltered straw colour with big white head. Aroma is of basement, booze, lemon, yeast, and grapes. Tastes of grapes, candy, and lemon. Has a sweet, smooth body that his highly carbonated and a little chewy. You feel the booze in this bad boy.
