murawski (158), USA Oct 1, 2006 Those pesky Canadians and there DAMN GOOD BEER!! Unibroue has quickly become one of my favorite breweries (mid-2006), and they seem to be flawless. This trippel had a nice spice to the flavor, and an awesome color when poured (a yellow-orange hazy color). Lively palate, and high alcohol content, but all perfectly balanced. A MUST TRY!
Blom (605), Odense, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 Orange with a grey head. Orange-like aroma combined with yeast. Sweet flavours dominated by sugar, peach, pepper and yeast. It’s refreshing and powerful. A nice tripel. Sparky27 (498), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 18, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy honey color with one finger creamy head. Nose is cloves, yeast and fruit bubblegum. Taste is tangy citrus, spicy Belgian yeast and a souring finish that fades into sweet fruits again. Medium mouth feel. An easier drinker but quite warming at 9%. Shane087 (23), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 Golden wheat color with little head. Very malty and bitter. Strong flavor of cloves and coriander. Velvety feel on the tongue. Alcohol is slightly noticable. Taste definitely improved as it warmed. CaryTheDude (157), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Aug 16, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Malty as hell. Not quite sure what to make of it. Wheat beer tendencies for sure. Definitely had better beers from Unibroue. The triple fermentation is impressive, but there’s something weird going on here that doesn’t agree, aight?
