Spicy nose, straw coloured with lots of carbonation. Sweet with dry finish. Nice drinkable ale that may catch up to bite you if one is not careful. Goes great with spicy Thai food !

Huge easy perpetual foamy head. Pours a hazy yellow glow. Heady penetrating aromatic trippel nose. Some carb on the tongue and the potent (overly?) body has notes of banana, light supple traces of liquorice and a whif of spice. Bit heavy too. Impressive and undoubtedly one of the world’s top beers of its style.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is quite yeasty with some banana, spices and some flowers. Taste has some spices, yeast and a medium bitter finish. Medium body, over medium carbo. Decent.

Poured from bottle into a tulip: Pours hazy golden / straw with a pretty white head. Aroma is bready, a little funky, banana, and spices. Taste is mildly sweet, banana, coriander, and some white yeast funk. This is a 9% beer but you can’t taste the alcohol... very dangerous. This is an extremely good white. Medium body, medium carbonation, very enjoyable.

Pours a hazy yellow with decent head that’s thick and sticks around for a while. Aroma is nice and fruity, slightly fermented but without being overwhelmingly sweet. Also has hints of fresh grass and floral scents. Taste is fruity and very smooth body. Good carbonation and well balanced. Ends with a slightly bitter taste with hints of hops. Generally a very good trippel that isn’t overwhelmingly sweet, is very balanced and drinkable. One of my favorites in the style.

Strange malty tripel. Very yeasty body, with a thick taste of malt and fruits. Bit too malty perhaps.

Really fruity with notes if banana and a solid upfront malty taste. Medium mouth feel... Really good.

On tap, pours a hazy golden. Belgian yeast and fruity aroma. Taste is spicy yeast, and fruit - banana and pear. Alcohol content well hidden.

Bottled. I was introduced to this beer by my good friend and craft beer geek Erik from Hamilton/Canada. He and I love Belgian ales and this Belgian style ale was amazing! Fruity, citrusy, alcohol hidden, beautiful color.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2014 12 oz bottle poured into a stemmed goblet. Initially, there’s a strong fruit combination pineapple, banana, orange, and peach with a light spice dusting and a bread dough and champagne aroma that fades. After the fading, some mango, cream, and a warm caramel are revealed. It pours a murky yellow-orange color with a soft, dense, small bubble head. A patch of micro to small bubbles floats in the middle and a thin ring retains on the outside edge. The lace is runny and leaves a clean glass. It’s a medium-high sweetness with a light-medium bitter finish. The creamy texture has a light, but ample amount, of prickly carbonation. The body is medium-full and finishes with a pizza crust, spice, and jam flavor. There’s also a dull, dry white wine note in the finish. The aftertaste is mellow and sneaky - a bit of spice and buttery pizza crust with a juicy, citrus note to it.
