The first time I tried this beer, I thought it was a rather boring Belgian ’style’ blonde beer. This time though, I loved it. Full of flavour, rich and superbly made. Almost perfect. It shows the foolishness of those who review a beer the first time that they try it. Absurd! Madness! No true beer lover would ever do that.

Poured into a snifter a murky light orange with a thin white head. Had this back to back with St. Bernardus tripel and liked this better. Nicer citrusy sweet aroma, spicy full bodied taste with subtle but pleasant alcohol notes and a great finish that stays sweet. Nice

Very complex strong belgian beer. Spicy and sweet throughout. A tad too sweet for my liking, but it doesn’t stop me from realising that this is a fantastic beer. Ripe fruits all over. I strongly recommend anyone to get a hold of it.

Mild, subtle, sweet and remarkably satisfying. Nice undertone of cittus. Strong but not overwhelming.

Pours out a cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is fruity and the taste is the same, and some spices are present. Very smooth mouthfeel and easy drinking. The 9% alcohol is very well masked.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a small wine glass. The color is a clear gold with a slight white head that disapeared quickly. No lacing. The smell is pretty darn fruity with a nice white grape flavor and sweet green apple flavor. The taste is again fruity with a nice bubbly sweet taste. A grape flavor is nice with a great green apple flavor and a slight hop bitterness on the back end. The feel of this beer is really light and quite enjoyable. It has a nice ammount of carbonation that is really pleasant and gives each sip a fizzieness that lightens the feel of this beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange body with an off white head. Sweet with a light coriander sweet citrus warming, some pear and appleish tones but not ox-notes. Spicy yeast character with some earth and herbal tones. A modest warming to finish. Great stuff.
