Quake1028 (627), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 17, 2007 12oz bottle, served in a tulip. Pours with a huge, gigantic, enormous, larger than life fluffy white head. Takes about 15 minutes to finally get all of the beer in the glass, then another 5 or so for the head to settle enough to drink. Golden body with a very lively carbonation display. Sheets of white lacing cling to the sides of the glass. Aromas of funky yeasts, candied sugars, peaches, pears, spices. Flavors of peaches, sugars, sweet malts, spices, and some sour notes. Palate is slightly sticky but not overdone. Light to medium bodied on the tongue, finishes slightly dry, sweet and silky smooth. the alcohol is very well hidden, and as a result makes this beer dangerously drinkable. Excellent.

Citris, alcohol, pepper, yeast. Definitely will have again fidelis83 (28), Clinton, Iowa, USA Sep 3, 2008 Pours milky peach with lots of head, some lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, banana, black pepper, citrus hops like orange glazed dinner rolls. Flavor is hearty but candy like, lemon heads, banana bread, cloves, sweet anise, a little bitter hops and root beer maltiness to finish. Mouthfeel’s a little thin for a triple but not a bad beer all around. JuStuka (143), , Mexico Sep 2, 2008 Pours a darker orange color, aroma is yeasty and sweet, with alcohol present, taste of peppery clove and other spices, aforementioned fruits, and sweet malts on the finish....one of my fav beers. SoberCajun (12), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Sep 1, 2008 Pours hazy gold with white head that doesn’t stick around. Slight banana aroma over hops. Nice crisp banana-bubblegum flavor with a decent amount of carbonation and a definite alcohol kick. Good balance and the lacing, as usual for Unibroue, is amazing.
