Skeegle (315), USA Apr 8, 2008 Yeast yeast and yeast. But that is to be expected from the style. Very sweet tripel that has tons of corriander, enough to knock a building over with. It tastes a bit one dimensional to me, and with a macro tinge to it. Overall a good beer that I am glad I got to try, but not really my thing in general. I rated with a curve since I know abbey tripel’s aren’t my style of choice.

Citris, alcohol, pepper, yeast. Definitely will have again fidelis83 (28), Clinton, Iowa, USA Sep 3, 2008 Pours milky peach with lots of head, some lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, banana, black pepper, citrus hops like orange glazed dinner rolls. Flavor is hearty but candy like, lemon heads, banana bread, cloves, sweet anise, a little bitter hops and root beer maltiness to finish. Mouthfeel’s a little thin for a triple but not a bad beer all around. JuStuka (143), , Mexico Sep 2, 2008 Pours a darker orange color, aroma is yeasty and sweet, with alcohol present, taste of peppery clove and other spices, aforementioned fruits, and sweet malts on the finish....one of my fav beers. SoberCajun (11), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Sep 1, 2008 Pours hazy gold with white head that doesn’t stick around. Slight banana aroma over hops. Nice crisp banana-bubblegum flavor with a decent amount of carbonation and a definite alcohol kick. Good balance and the lacing, as usual for Unibroue, is amazing.
