wingman333 (160), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Feb 24, 2008 Color a brilliant orange with pale white head, taste mostly orange, too, one-dimensional really but not necessarily bad. Sweet, not bitter. Some spice. Unoriginal but passable. I have sampled this 2-3 times hoping for more but left somewhat disappointed.
checkmatei1 (215), Willow Grove, USA Jul 16, 2008 Bottle: Wow, what a beer. This beer poured a hazy dark yellow with a small amount of white head. The aroma is of apples, citrus, yeast and mustyness. The flavor is refreshing, hints of apples, bananas, cloves, and bread. Overall, one of the best beers I’ve had. Indiana_Red (1445), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 15, 2008 Bottle pours a hazy yellow with a typical huge foamy white head and lots of blocky lacing. Musty aroma and o sweet vegetative notes. Light cereal flavors with the yeasty dusty Belgian slant. Livel carbonation and a light body.
Thabks to Jake or sharing this one that somehow escaped me this long.
TurtlePiano (2), phoenix, Arizona, USA does not count Jul 15, 2008 I would like to say that this is my favorite beer right now. It is so refreshing in the summertime. It is a nice cloudy gold on the eye and a beautiful fruity smell with strong scents of banana and hints of clove and apple. It tastes much like the smell with a mild finish that gives it a refreshing summer feel that leaves you wanting more. love this beer dunkpigen (243), Kolding, Denmark Jul 13, 2008 Bottle at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours a clear yellow with a small head. Aroma is vinious and fruity. Flavour is sweat and vinious with fruits and yeast - very nice palate. Maltybones (48), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Jul 12, 2008 I can’t believe I waited so long to try this. Appearance is a cloudy dark yellow woth a quickly receeding white head. Aroma is dominated by fruity esters, particularily pear, with notes of corriander and bubblegum. Taste us much the same, with pears and apricots being most dominant, with light spices, yeat and a noticable alcohol flavour following. Mouthfeel is wieghty, full and even a little creamy. A great beer.
