charcot25 (181), Cordova, Tennessee, USA Jul 27, 2007 750 ml bottle into a goblet. Pours a light gold with thick but rapidly diminishing white head. Aroma is dominated by tropical fruits and light spice. Phenolic, spicy taste with some hop bitterness. Finishes very dry and refreshing.

Citris, alcohol, pepper, yeast. Definitely will have again fidelis83 (28), Clinton, Iowa, USA Sep 3, 2008 Pours milky peach with lots of head, some lacing. Aroma is very yeasty, banana, black pepper, citrus hops like orange glazed dinner rolls. Flavor is hearty but candy like, lemon heads, banana bread, cloves, sweet anise, a little bitter hops and root beer maltiness to finish. Mouthfeel’s a little thin for a triple but not a bad beer all around. JuStuka (143), , Mexico Sep 2, 2008 Pours a darker orange color, aroma is yeasty and sweet, with alcohol present, taste of peppery clove and other spices, aforementioned fruits, and sweet malts on the finish....one of my fav beers. SoberCajun (12), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Sep 1, 2008 Pours hazy gold with white head that doesn’t stick around. Slight banana aroma over hops. Nice crisp banana-bubblegum flavor with a decent amount of carbonation and a definite alcohol kick. Good balance and the lacing, as usual for Unibroue, is amazing.
