ILduce (86), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 3, 2008 355ml Bottle. Orange-beige appearance with tight soapy head. Lively carbonation. Powerful aromas of wheat, orange, lemon and pepper. Sweet malt taste with lots of yeast, some cardamom. Soft oily palate with an alcoholic finish. Abundantly characterful.
mfaulke (61), clemson, South Carolina, USA Jul 25, 2008 A rich, yeasty concoction. It’s light and fruity, and finishes with a quite a twang. A great brew, but there are other Unibroue offerings that I like even more. Defreni (447), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 25, 2008 Flaske. Super øl. gameface23 (44), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA Jul 25, 2008 This beer is an experience. Pours a hazy gold with a lively head and active carbonation. The smell is ripe with fruit, yeast and spice. The taste is tart and refreshing at the same time. thickfreakness (10), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 21, 2008 Pours an opaque, bubbly golden color with a white head that doesn’t fade. The aroma is lightly fruity, yeasty, lightly spicy and a bit musty. Taste is similar with a nice refreshing lemony flavor. Quite lively carbonation. Overall a nice refreshing summer beer with hardly any hint of the ABV. jake65 (1185), Meridian, Idaho, USA Jul 21, 2008 Bottle: Pours a dusty and cloudy blonde with a large, frothy white head. Aroma is light and fruity. Some bits of florals and spice. Flavor presents a little bit of yeast and typical spices. Light fruitiness and hints of apple. Not real intense, other than the heavy carbonation. Just wasn’t feeling this one.
