--> nicht so zu empfehlen!

Drought. Golden yellow with creamy beige head, orange-tangerine-vanilla aroma, sweet cookie like taste, almost like consuming those butterscotch cookies, low carbonation, medium finish. Incredibly smooth and easy for a beer with this high alcohol content; explains why it would be a month-ender!

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste belgian yeast, sweet, fruity. I thought this was really good. I would definitely drink this again.

One of my favorite triples out there, and the most reasonably priced one too; for 7.99 at TD Joes it’s an excellent deal. It’s on the sweeter side of tripels, lots of belgian yeast, banana, butterscotch, vanilla and sugar, hazy bright yellow with a foamy big head. Lovely representation of the style; for my money beats some of the big hitters in the Belgian front (St Bernardus, Karmeliet...)

Poured from a 750ml bottle. The aroma is yeast driven, but I would not be surprised if some fruit was harmed in the making of this beer. There is orange, banana, musty notes, soft malty sweetness, just in the aroma. The flavor is bready, sweet maltiness, yeasty, banana, orange. Some warming alcohol. I have had this beer many times and I am still finding it enjoyable.

Bottle poured into tulip. Two plus fingers of off-white head that slowly collapses to a ring and a few small foamy islands. Pale apricot gold color that is hazy. Bubbles rise single file - cool to watch. Aroma is apple/pear cider, doughy yeast, clove, alcohol. Clove flavor up front then malty sweetness followed by drying alcohol. More hints of cider. A touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonation, drying finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium white lasting fluffy head. mild lacing. Aroma is of sweet spicy fruit, Belgian yeast, some notes of citrus and banana, some biscuit malt as well. Taste is same as aroma with a good spiced hops bitterness. A medium body, with lively carbonation, almost champagne like. The finish is a combination of sweet spiced fruit, Belgian yeast, biscuit malt with spicy hops bitterness on the end for balance. This brew has some nice champagne like effervescence. Overall a very good, delightful, and tasty brew. very nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Ava's in Easton, MD. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a creamy white head in a Chimay glass. Aroma of pears, spice, yeast. Flavor follows with lots of fresh juicy pears, honey, some spice, and lingering yeast ones on the palate. Medium bodied, slightly dry finish yet still juicy, adequate carbonation. Such am easy drinking really world class brew.

Ok, belgian from Canada... In my opinion one of the best beers in the world! The flavor profile is outstanding, drink one next to a Duvel. This beer has a taste that is unmistakeable, fantastic malty smootheness but, with the distinguishable belgian yeast mix. Though I may not reccomend this spicy belgian to everyone , this is probably my favorite beer!
