2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 gramity (1054) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 14, 2013
An unclear orange beer with a small head. The aroma is yeasty with notes of coriander. The flavor is also yeasty, but with notes of oranges while the body is thin. Not bad, just boring.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale blond with a decent head. Aroma is cereal upfront, light citrus and spices with Unibroue’s signature yeast. Taste is refreshingly tart with a light cereal and malts sweetness and some spices. A well crafted hybrid between a witbeer and a blond ale. Simple and refreshing.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 sulawang (408) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 25, 2013
pours cloudy yellow-orange-amber, with a massive creamy head, good retention, some lacing, very active streams. Big citrus aromas up front with a slight sourness and mild barnyard.
Attack: tingly lemon citrus, 2/10-sweetness (dry), creamy mouthfeel
Mid-palate: coriander, lemon, orange, wheat/yeasty, light wheat malt
Finish: cuts dry, tangy, mild burpy, light malty non-bitter finish
Generally refreshing and a decent session/meal beer.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 RD400F (101) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 19, 2013
34cl bottle to Unibroue tulip.
Aroma: Zesty citrus fruits, Unibroue yeast, a bit of sour funk, some caramel, light biscuit, vanilla. Quite complex for the ABV.
Appearance: Hazy pale gold color with a fine white head.
Taste: Very fruity and there is some sourness as well to contrast. Light bitterness to finish it off.
Palate: Mouthfeel is light and spritzy, somewhat like a lambic but not as thin. Carbonation is great, balance is good too. Starts sweet then leaning toward sour and finishing slightly dry and bitter. Quite clean.
Overall: Interesting beer, seems to be a cross between an ale and lambic. Pretty neat, why did they discontinue this?

Minus the gueuze selection i think this is the last beer i can review - thanks for the pity bottle, B. Light yellowy lightly orange cloudy stuff with a huge fluffed out blanket of bubbles. Lightly funky, lightly. word of the review lightly is. Perfumy pepper, dry wheat, smells white, not sure about the weak banana - if it is there or not, lightly spoiling pineapple juice, even fresher when its sat for a long time. The taste is similar with a very appealing dry tangy citrus impression, no pineapple at all. Highly drinkable like the rest.

Crap!!!!! Got have way done the review and i closed the browser so here I am redoing it. Cloudy pale gold body with a stupidly long lasting crown. It has that very familiar and distinct Unibroue smell and taste sooooooo I guess that means i have an excellent beer so far. Sharp yeasty aroma with nice spice and a lemon finish. Good strong flavour with heavy yeast and toasty malt. Love the balanced spice and lemon. No faults with the beer so far. Brew finishes grainy and clean. Ok I found a fault with this beer is it is almost like every other beer the brewery ever produced........is that a bad thing?
