I noticed a nice smooth medium body to it with malty/fruity taste. Not bad. dkachur (2347), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 27, 2008 750 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Pours black with a medium sized head that lasts. Aroma of yeast and sour cherries. Aroma does not translate to the taste, which is smooth and malty. Goes down real nice. This beer thankfully does not live up to its name. Capa (955), Yokosuka, Japan

Aroma is of mild tart cherries, molasses, spices, and yeast. The cherries are also evident in the flavor with a nice malty, molasses backbone. Mouth is fairly carbonated. A pretty mellow flavor profile overall. Very enjoyable. amishcaravan (237), Winona, Minnesota, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 22, 2008 This brew pours a dark brown with a tan foamy head consisting of tiny bubbles. The aroma iS a mix of what seems to be chocolate, coffee, and malts. The alcohol iS very well hidden making this a delight to drink. Terrible? Hardly...only terrible if you pass it up for a first try. mractor (2), Los Angeles, California, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Attractive in the glass...pours dark brown, almost black, with ruby hints in front of light. Aroma promises plums and chocolate, and flavor adds dark cherries to the profile. I’m going to pair this one with desserts. I’m thinking cherry pie.
