tennisjoel (931), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA Oct 28, 2007 750 mL bottle rating. Pour is pitch black and opaque. Thinner head than many belgians. More stoutlike in appearance. Dark candied fruits, namely raisin, fig, as well as some tobacco and spices. Very strong and complex flavors. This is a real treat and is my favorite Unibroue beer to date. Suttree (2701), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 28, 2007 Naming your beer "Terrible" pretty much makes it critic proof, I guess. Murky brown, with a thin beige head. Pleasent aroma of figs and grape, some red wine notes, too. Rich fruity flavor - rasin and plum, rum, and brandy. Some alcohol heat, too. Sleepster (12), Dayton, Ohio, USA Oct 27, 2007 From a prestegious 750ml 2004 vintage bottle. Pours a nice dark brown with limited head. Virtously no carbonation to begin with and the overall flavor on inpact is one of a strong punch of a deep fruity wine. One of the best Unibroue has to offer. jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA Oct 25, 2007 Pours very dark wih slight ruby rednes with large tan head. Aroma has definate hints of alcohol some sweetness (black currants). Taste has nice yeastyness, hints of chocolate. Definate bitterness in the finish. Very nice. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Oct 25, 2007 Dark brown with red edges. Big fluffy off-white head. Plum and spice cake in the aroma. Flavor is full of spiced fruits and a bit of orange. Fizzy mouthfeel. Good stuff.
