750 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with full foam brown head. Little alcohol in the taste, taste of sweat malt with bitter after taste. Sweat aroma. Very good drinking beer.

La Terrible pours a deep dark brown, and is heavily carbonated, with an inch thick tan head. The head from this beer lasted longer than it does from my woman. The 10.5% is well hidden by the flavor of this beer.

Upon pouring, the carbonation and color reminded me of a cola. The aroma was sweet and full of carmel. The body was similarly sweet with heavy carbonation.

Pours a deep dark brown, topped by an inch or so of soft tan foam. Good head retention and lacing. Mild sweet grain and soft chocolate aroma. Bold sweet flavors - chocolate malt, toffee, brown sugar, grain, and a fruitiness like Welch’s grape juice concentrate. Very sweet in the finish and aftertaste. Medium full body, mild carbonation

Very nice. Right off, the 10.5% is completely masked by the smooth, sweet taste of this beer. Murky brown pour with a squatty off-white head. Fruity aroma similar to a lighter cognac. Dark fruits, malt, and sugar mix well with the malt. Palate was enjoyably light for a change. Its nice not to have every Belgian Strong be thick and syrupy. Overall, a great beer.

lively, long finish, i think it’s rare to find such a corbonated beed that doesn’t just moisten the tounge but renders a chocolaty auroa about the mouth, not so much a lingering spice, but an assimilation of the tatse buds that leaves them like an addict, fiending for the next sip

22 Jul 2006 - Malty sweet spiritous hop aroma. Dark brown-red colour, good lacing and reasonable head. Sweet raisin, choc malt and hop flavour. Tangy sweet roast fruit hop finish but a bit thin.
