DBF 2005. Deep chestnut, low off white head and low condition. Low malt with a background iron tartness in the nose, gently fruity in the mouth with a gentle iron tartness and a lingering malty balsamic sub-Rodenbach finsih.

I LOVED this beer. i poured beuatifully. It had a nice dark color. The aroma was amazing, very sweet. Once I drank this, it had the most amazing taste, sweet with fruit and yeast. Very nice finish. If I had 5 bottles of this stuff, they’d all be gone by now. BTW, the high alcohol (10.5% ) is a little noticeable. But this is an amazing beer.

750 ml bottle 2004 vintage poured a hazy dark reddish brown with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of dark fruit, brown sugar and pepper. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of plum, grape koolaid, pepper and a hint of spices with a warming finish.

Dark brown lasting head. Aromas of nuts, malts, molasses, toffee, french vanilla but very well maintained. Black berries, cherry’s, brown sugar makes this dark beauty a rollercoster of fantastic flavors. Bottles in 2005, this beer can age for a good 10 years...
