Hazy yellow with a wispy white head and a few chunky floaties. Aroma of yeast, malt, lemon and spice. Medium bodied. Flavour is a bit simple by classic Unibroue standards, but still very good, with the lemon and spice notes making it very refreshing. Very suitable that it’s brewed for restaurants as it would go very well with food. Thanks again, Paul - we owe you big time!

Overheard: "A distant cousin of Blanche de Chambly but stronger and thicker." blankboy (2562), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Bottle (341ml) at ’Pub l’Oncle Antoine’, Quebec City. Pours a hazy bubbly gold with a large slowly diminishing frothy white head. Nice citrusy and spicy aroma with yeast and a mild sourness or tartness to it. Flavour, also nice, is pretty refreshing with citrus and spices, yeast and a light bitter finish. Goes down crazy easy. Alcohol totally hidden. Medium bodied. I must say, this is somewhat similar to their Blanche De Chambly -- still, this is a good, pleasant summer patio beer. Well done. Cloudy light orange pour, average white wispy head (3+). nice tart lemon/sweet malt aroma, very yeasty - classic sweet "Belgiums." Taste is also a smooth blend of lemon, yeast and sweet malt, light and not too alcoholic. Thick mouthfeel, solid carbonation, medium malty finsh - pretty solid tart/sweet brew - again, many, many thanks, Paul! LadySusan (360), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada Oct 7, 2006 Bottle at Oncle Antoine in Québec city. Hazy dark golden color. It has the aroma and taste of fruit, the alcohol % is just right to give it a special taste that is not like any other Unibroue beer.
