Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 18, 2006 An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is primarily of stale fruits combined with a touch of dust with an underlying sweetness. The flavor is quite sweet and quite complex with notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, cinnamon, cloves, leading to a dry alcohol end, where the alcohol tickles the tongue. The mouthfeel is surprisingly sparkling. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 30, 2003 Bottled. Cloudy ruby colour, creamy head. Yeasty fruit aroma with a hint of red berries. Rather sweet with beautifully soft texture. Rich and malty with toffee and crystalized sugar. Mild, drier finish. A thoroughly balanced beer. Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 15, 2005 Updated: Jun 14, 2005(Bottle 75 cl) Dark amber, high carbonation with a tall bubbly head - all the typical Unibroue-features. Very fruity with a rather discreet bitterness. Sweetish with yeasty notes. Another fine beer from Unibroue. 070804 Oakes (6784), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 6, 2002 Updated: Sep 17, 2006Cloudy orange-brown with a light tan head. Yeasty nose with figs, nutmeg, dust, caramel, toffeeish malt, rye bread, pear, raisin. Full body, rich & spicy. Lots of warming alcohol, dark fruits and malt. The yeastines obscures the flavours much more than the aroma to the point where the finish is almost simple alcoohol and sweet fruits. joergen (6141), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 1, 2005 Bottled.
