mikey (321), farmington, Utah, USA Apr 30, 2008 Poured a hazy copper color with two finger of head that dissapeared rather quickly. The nose was strong with clove, corriander and cinnamon with a backbone of sweet toffee malts. The taste started spicey with clove, pineapple and ripe apricots. This beer also has a very prominent toffee malt profile that I found very pleasing. As it warmed alcohol became more noticable but didn’t affect the taste at all. Malt and pepper tones linger on in the finish. Extemely drinkable and an overall tasty brew.

Excellent beer hirigalzkar (11), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 29, 2008 Bottle from Systembolagets beställningssoritiment. Served in a Westmalle glass. Sweet "belgian" aroma with hints of toffee. The flavour is fruity and yeasty - complex. Cloudy body. ucusty (1062), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 29, 2008 Copper pour with a creamy head, yeast proteins visible. Spicy citrus aroma (oranges), slightly floral. Nice spice component dominates the malt, notes of orange, cinnamon sugary. Finish is very sweet and sugary but soft and well balanced...perhaps a bit too sweet as it warms. BeerIndustry98 (14), , California, USA Aug 28, 2008 Deep dark brown in color and very cloudy. Nice head with tiny bubbles due to the secondary fermentation. Has a yeasty, raspberry aroma. Thick mouth feels as expected from appearance. Subtle bite and excellent tart taste with a moderate acidic finish.
