Nice looking beer with an amber body and thick fluffy white head, but body is a bit on the thin side. Aroma shown barnyard, and a bit of acrid citrus. Taste is consistent with the aroma. Very dry finish with a tongue scraping sprightly carbonation. I felt it could have used more maltiness and backbone.

sample from the bottle at The Great Decatur Beer Festival on 10/17/09. pours an orange color with a nice white head... big orange and apricot notes on the nose... very active carbonation... medium body with some yeast, more fruit and a touch of spice... almost too much citrus for me... kind of like drinking oranges... not bad.

Bottle courtesy of bleeng. Clear yellow pour that has banana hues. Taste has fruity elements that last all the way through the finish. Flavorful fruit.

Sampled on 10/9/2009. This Belgian ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, tropical with a touch of wood. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. Peach and pineapple flavors dominate. Yeasty and estery, with the typical Unibroue yeast flavors. Lively carbonation. Light and refreshing; fruity and a touch spicy. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Pours slightly hazy, pale yellow gold, with a 3 finger fuzzy white head that has good retention and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is banana peel, light earthy funk, spice-clove and spicy ginger are notable, light citrus and floral notes. Flavor is full of overripe banana, spice, light pepper, yeasty white bread, caraway, wheat and a hint of mango. Finishes sweet, yeasty and spicy with a hint of citrus. Palate is light to medium bodied with a fairly dry feel throughout and a very active, though fairly smooth carbonation. Good stuff overall, it seems a little high on the level of spice, especially clove, the dry and somewhat thin palate probably didn’t help that much. Still very enjoyable.
