| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Yellow and cloudy in appearance with a small white head. The aroma is yeasty with notes of apples and clove. The flavor is spicy with a banana overtone. The texture is syrupy. It’s decent, but I’m getting real tired of Belgian Ales to tell the truth. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Bottle… Clear yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is an intermingling of banana, clove, vanilla, pear and pale grains. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Sweet, spicy, lightly fruity flavor with a touch of vanilla in the blend. Tongue-numbing, Novocain-like finish. Imperial wit, maybe? pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

wonderful look to it: hazed gold with a billowy white cap and wonderful lacing
....great nose: fruity, musk melon over biscuits and aromatic tobacco.
Nice mouth to this one sharp yet silky...soft ripened fruits and wheaty biscuit dough with some resinous hopping and light sweetness. Finishes drying and bittering.
I like this offering I suspect a good deal of wheat malt was used . I will look for ward to sampling it in a couple of years. kp (8600), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
