Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is has notes of sweet malt and spices as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of peaches, as well as medium notes of malt, cloves and other spices, and alcohol, leading to a dry, bitter, and spicy finish.

Hazy blonde. Spicy aroma with some bready character and paint-like phenols. Spicy, smooth. There’s a soft sweetness to it that carries the spice well. It’s quite pleasant, but I can’t say that it transcends the sameness of the Unibroue yeast.

Bottle, corked and caged, from Wine and Cheese Place in St. Louis, MO. Hazy golden color with a fizzy/frothy white head. Bit of funk, bit of citrus, bit of candi for aroma. Medium body with strong, almost biting, carbonation. Flavor is clove, funk, yeast, citrus. Finish is pretty nearly astringent. Extremely good tasting. Mouthsmacking. Suggestive of a bier de garde?

(750ml bottle) Small off-white head atop cloudy lemon-yellow body. Aroma is medium sweet, house yeast, candi sugar, orange, some straw, light cardamom. Taste is medium sweet, Belgian yeast, candi sugar, orange. Medium body, moderate effervescence. Fits right in with the other Unibroues -- the only surprise is that the corporate overlords let the quality keep on coming.
