Bottle aged 10 years from a friend. Pours a hazy, bright orange. Aroma is rich and incredible: like a Thanksgiving dessert table in a glass! Strong hints of pumpkin pie and cherry pie simultaneously. Sweet spice is prominent in the nose. Flavor is a fantastic mix of ground pumpkin and nutmeg with sour cherry in the background. Slight tartness lingers with a wonderful complement of sweet pumpkin pie. The tart, sweet, and savory features are so balanced. Age really makes this one special. It moves beyond cherry juice and becomes a masterpiece.

Finally got my hands on this one. Snifter. Pour produced a ruby-brown color that was very pleasing but produced no head at all. Nose is straight up cherries and slight malt. Reminded me of cherry coke at first smell, then more like a light kriek lambic after that. Taste was slightly tart, fresh cherry flavor that was semi-sweet and very drinkable. The 8% abv is not noticeable at all and there is no carbonation to speak of. Another great brew from Unibroue.

Pours a nice hazy violet with not much of a head. Smelled plentiful of cherries, skittles and nyquil. The taste was rich and fruity, of course cherries, but with a twang that reminded me of Swedish Fish. Only a tad malty and refreshing, this 8% fruit beer will make you only appreciate MORE what Unibroue does for us all. Thank you OmegaX!

Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear reddish-amber with almost no head. Very little lacing, medium body, smooth texture, and low carbonation. Taste is dark cherry (with tartness that peaks out at times) and some red wine. Flat, needs carbonation. Serve chilled not refrigerated or allow to warm.

Bottle. A hazy red beer with literally no head whatsoever, even with an aggressive pour. Sweet aroma of cherries. a little citrus. Taste is of cherries, some tartness. Very smooth. No carbonation at all, which I find off-putting.

Bottle -- a holiday gift from a co-worker, bless her heart. This is from the 2010 bottling. Pours a medium red-purple with very little head. The nose is sweet, rich red wine with cherry notes and a touch of phenols. The fruit is forward on the tongue, laced with spice -- very little carbonation, but a clean, deep finish. It’s spiced cherry pie or gluhwein all the way. Good stuff.
