Taste of strong cherries and a little bitterness. comfortable smooth palate with a smooth finish. I really liked the natural cherry flavor. I’d buy this one again for a dinner beer.

I never could even figure out what color this beer really is. It changed with different lighting from red to brown to amber and back again. Tasted chilled at the start. This gave forth a tart grape flavor. As the bottle warmed, a black cherry flavoring became predominate. This is a smooth beer that was very satisfying.

A bottle that was cellared for 4 years. Poured a rich garnet red. Minimal head. Temperature is room temp. Aroma of cocoa, cherry and lemon. Taste is rich with cherry, vinous notes, vanilla and some chocolate. A little sourness in the finish that takes a bit away from the overall experience. A nice beer that I should have not cellared for as long as I did.

Dont drink this cold! The is a lot of cherry aroma but the taste is a weird, watered down sour cherry liquer taste. I think I drank it wrong as the commercial desrciption says to drink warm.

There ain’t nothing quelque chose about it, that is cherries. Nice aroma cheery, and grapefruit hops. Pours with no head in a murky dark red color. Medium body goes down watery with lively carbonation,

Room temp: Aroma is sweet and fruity, slightly funky. Very cherry and rich. Kind of like NG Belgian Red in the aroma. Sexy. Taste is dull chocolate and cherry. Just a full mouthfeel that lends itself to a chocolate perception more than an actual chocolate taste. Overall, kind of dull, eh. 836314 Hot: Aroma becomes a little pumpkin or squash like to me. Taste becomes richer, deeper and slightly more complex, but the depth and richness of flavors is slightly blunted. The cherries are dull and could use a little more richness of flavor, the sourness that was initially present relegates itself to the finish and improves the finish dramatically. Any perceptible flaws in the beer are dulled by the heat. Not a bad beer at all, but the flavors do not mesh as well as I would like. Seems disjointed and fruity. A nice apertif. 638315

Poured from a 750ml caged and corked bottle and served in a champagne flute at 160 degrees. This beer poured a deep ruby red with a thin head of light violet foam that settled down to a thin cap that lasted the duration of the glass. A small amount of faint, slippery lacing was left behind. The aroma of the beer was made up of sweet cherry notes, cinnamon, cloves, and lightly vinous alcohol. Nicely spicey and very aromatic. The flavor included vinous wine notes, slightly tart cherries, strong cinnamon and clove, herbal earthy yeast esthers, and mild alcohol. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with very light carbonation. Interesting and tasty. Almost more comparable to hot cider than beer.
