Served warm - mulled by Eric and probably around 100 degrees. Pour is ruby red, no head, and completely still. Aroma of mulling spices, cinnamon, coriander and just overall festive holiday spiciness. Taste of big cherry, and a much more subtle version of all of the spices listed in the aroma. Really fun to drink, and I far preferred the warmed version to the room temperature. May need to work this one into a Christmas tradition! jredmond (1027), New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2007 ’02 bottle. The body is cloudy red. The aroma is spice, cinnamon, and cherry pie. The taste is extremely different. Incomparable to any other beer Ive ever tried. Taste is very smooth, no carbonation, almost like juice. It hides the alcohol really well. We did not drink this one hot, though it reminded me of some sort of spicy winter drink that you would heat up. csbosox (1079), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA

Sour cherries dominate the aroma. Kinda winey. Sweet, spicy, with sour cheeries abound. Tart. Great stuff! Served warm the beer seems to accentuate the acidity (alchol?) and really cuts thru the beer. wcampbell (576), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Very unique taste, I have never had anything like it. Almost no carbonation. Smooth, with no trace of alcohol. Tastes like cranberry juice with some cinnamon and spices. Could also pass as wine. SpringsLicker (2042), Tennessee, USA

Pours a fairly clear reddish brown with little head.
Aroma is almost cidery. Complex, fruity, vinous, and light bodied.
Very pleasant and quite different.
I’ve added another bottle to the cellar. JohnnyJ (1307), Carlsbad, California, USA

I tried this cold and hot, both where good. Lots of sweet and tart cherries, clove, cinnamon, and oak vanilla. Quite spicy, great Christmas brew. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Very strange beer with an aroma quite different from the flavor. Almost rotten aroma, but the flavor so smooth that you’ll think it’s another beer. Tried sample it with 2 fingers at my nose avoiding the aroma maked it a better brew. Cherries at its most aged level. Not bad, but I still prefer Cantillon. Sampled it at room temperature. Looking forward to Liefmans Glühkriek HOT!!! Beerman6686 (1271), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
