750 ml bottle thanks to xnoxhatex. Well maybe we shouldn’t have had this after a sweet mead. Pours a copper red color with a small head. Nose is dominated by cherries and spice nutmeg? Cherry flavors as well very sweet a little too much for me. A hint of tartness, but I was hoping for more of that characteristic. I’m sure I’ll try this one again, next time when I’m in the mood for something sweet.

Red-brown colour. A small white head.. A great aroma from cherry, wood, smook and fruiits. Flavor is sweet and sherrylike.

From a microwaved coffee mug and from a iced hennepin glass. Rich and sour cherry flavor along with nutmeg. Taste is a lot sharper on ice with a plum aftertaste. This is quite possibly the weirdest beer I have ever tried.

750ml, thanks to xnoxhatex for bringing and sharing his bottle. pours dark red with little head. nose is cherry and cinnamon. i mainly get sweet cherries and cinnamon in the flavor that comes off being cough syrup-esque and is borderline cloyingly sweet. alcohol is well hidden. carbination is low. maybe i need to try this hot.

Pours to a hazy amber color with virtually no head, although I think that might be the norm for this type of beer..so I did not downgrade for that. Aroma was a pleasant cherry, but also had the scent of a spice I could swear was nutmeg. Mouthfeel was slightly tingly, and a medium bodied, while the flavor was also a mixture of the sweet syrup and a touch of tanginess. Not my favorite, but a pretty good beer.

Bottled. Red-brown with no head. Sweet cherry-aroma and from cherry-seeds. Thick and oily palate. Sweet and spicy flavour; fruits, clove, cherries (of course).

[254-20070407] 1pt9.4floz (w/ jerc). Sweet cherry and vanilla aroma. Deep red body with little or no head. Tart cherry flavour then becomes smooth. Medium boozy body. Great cherry fruit blending. (8/3/7/3/16) 3.7

[2359B-20090731] Bottle. Sweet floral syrup aroma. Slightly hazy, dark amber brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Nice sweet syrupy flavour has a malty fruit plum sugar base and finishes long and sweet. Medium-full body. Smooth and tasty. (9/3/8/4/17) 4.1

Amber red with no head. Strong notes of dark fruits like raisins & plum. Spicy cinnamon, nutmeg & fruity cherry. No carbonation. The balance is OK. A thirst quencher on a hot day! Thank you Carsten!
