Partager avec Jean-Nic. Probablement la meilleur Unibroue a mon gout car n utilise pas la levure "Unibroue". Bu chaude. Peu de collet, petillante, acide, fruiter. On ne detecte pas l alcool. Plutot bonne.
2002 Edition. Drank with Jean-Nic. Maybe the best Unibroue because it actually doesnt use the "Unibroue" yeast. Drank hot, little to no head, sparkling, acidic, fruity. Cant taste the alcohol. Good. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Dec 25, 2008 A Mes rate. A very generous gift from HogTownHarry saved for a Christmas day treat with Sim and Sue. I love these hot krieks and there is no doubt this is a beauty. Considering this is six years old it is certainly not showing. Awesome fresh sweet cherries with a hint of sourness in the finish. Just the right amount of spice and plenty of other fruit besides the cherries. Nice caramel notes give just a slight hint of the age but other than that, only a faint mustiness on the nose gives it away. Actually the sweet and sour balance is spot on. Mouthfeel is luscious as you would expect. Thick and full yet wonderfully clean. The alcohol gives it just the right amount of fun and coupled with the serving temperature, this has the most incredible warming sensation I have experienced from any beer. My god it is just utterly adorable. Harry, you know you bloody rock! drjay44 (757), Salida, Colorado, USA Dec 24, 2008 750 ml. bottle. I was a chicken and did not do it hot. We had it at cellar temperature. Pours a thin head with good lacing over a tawny port reddish brown slightlly hazy body....nose is fruity cherry with some worcestershire bitters type tones.....tastes of subdued cherry fruit with cinnamon, clove, a bit of black tea bitterness....mouth feel is rich and chewy. A remarkable creation!!! ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Dec 17, 2008 Bottle 2002 Limited Edition: Big fan of Unibroue, this is another great creation. Tasted it both ways.
Cold: Fruity bitterness, refreshing. Hot: Tea-like goodness with herbal notes. AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Dec 15, 2008 Updated: Apr 3, 2009Beautiful rich red pour with no head. The nose is cherry pie sweetness with a mulled spice influence. The flavor is the same and the finish is clean and smooth, as is the mouthfeel. fidel (882), Livermore, California, USA Dec 13, 2008 Dark reddish brown, cherries, other dark fruits, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg. ScoWRee (275), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 13, 2008 Pours a light brown, iced tea color, with no head. Aroma is sour or like that of Balsamic Viniger.
