drunk hot (appy 148 deg F)Intense ruby body, thin clear/grey head. nose abound with cherries, of course, apples, nutmeg and cinnamon alsdo heavily adorn this beautiful aroma. tart and cidery, tastes more of apples than cherries, perhaps a hint of cocoa as well. Wow this is nice stuff. Biting, dry finish with alcohol emerging. Lots of spices and real warm (obviously)

Bottle 50 cl. Cold: Pours an almost clear reddish amber, no head and completely flat. Sweetish liqueur-like cherry aroma with an overripe feel and a light underlying acidity. 8/3/8/3/15=3.7

Hot: Clear, warm reddish amber. Very intense cherry aroma. Medium body with sweet’n’sour cherry notes. Very authentic cherry flavours. 271208

Bottle. Vintage 2002. Cold rating: Clear amber, no head. Powerful cherry aroma, vinious, some cellar. Very low carbonation. Great fruity flavour, light tart and good cherries. Good, long, caramel/toffee aftertaste. Warm rating: More red than amber, a good, staying, small, white head. Lightly vinious aroma, lots of cherries. Almost no carbonation. A bit sweeter than cold, lots more spices abound. Good warming feeling with good cherries and caramel.

Edition 2002. Partager avec Jean-Nic. Probablement la meilleur Unibroue a mon gout car n utilise pas la levure "Unibroue". Bu chaude. Peu de collet, petillante, acide, fruiter. On ne detecte pas l alcool. Plutot bonne. 2002 Edition. Drank with Jean-Nic. Maybe the best Unibroue because it actually doesnt use the "Unibroue" yeast. Drank hot, little to no head, sparkling, acidic, fruity. Cant taste the alcohol. Good.

A Mes rate. A very generous gift from HogTownHarry saved for a Christmas day treat with Sim and Sue. I love these hot krieks and there is no doubt this is a beauty. Considering this is six years old it is certainly not showing. Awesome fresh sweet cherries with a hint of sourness in the finish. Just the right amount of spice and plenty of other fruit besides the cherries. Nice caramel notes give just a slight hint of the age but other than that, only a faint mustiness on the nose gives it away. Actually the sweet and sour balance is spot on. Mouthfeel is luscious as you would expect. Thick and full yet wonderfully clean. The alcohol gives it just the right amount of fun and coupled with the serving temperature, this has the most incredible warming sensation I have experienced from any beer. My god it is just utterly adorable. Harry, you know you bloody rock!
