Sweet and lightly sour malt aroma. Cloudy orange color with a large white head. Sweet beginning with a mildly drying finish. Middle to finish a Belgian yeast taste develops and fades in the end

12oz bottle: Appearance is a hazy brown with slow fading off-white head, aroma is domintated by yeast with hints of fruits coming through, flavor is again domintated by yeast with earthy tones and hints of smoked malt, this beer good but a little to earthy tasting for me.

Darkish amber copper color with a bubbly off-white head. Aromas of yeast and smoke. Ahh! My favorite beer some years ago, and then it became unavailable in my area. Back in a mixed 4 pack. Very frothy carbonation and near medium body. Flavor is lightly smoky malt. Nice yeast aspects. A bit light in some ways, but an extremely satisfying ale.

Le coter fumer est rapidement envahi par la levure unibroue.... The smokiness is overwhelmed by the yeast again...

Raftman is a refreshing, spicy and light Unibroue offering. The beer still carries the trademark Unibroue yeast flavor to some extent, but this beer manages that flavor in a light, drinkable package, which is not something I expected from Unibroue. Raftman pours a fizzy, clear amber with a diminishing off white head that leaves fair lacing. The smell is fruity with apples and spicy with nutmeg, cloves and pepper. The flavor is earthy and sweetly doughy, while remaining light and very lively on the palate. There are some subtle smoky notes lingering throughout the beer that I can not really pin down. There is a light metallic note on the finish, but it is unobtrusive and overshadowed by a slight pucker of well crafted bitterness. Raftman is my favorite light Unibroue beer, at the moment, and probably my third favorite of their normal rotation.
