UPDATED: JUN 14, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Dark amber, slightly hazy with a tiny, creamy head. Only faint smoked aromas from the whisky-malt. Lovely body which is soft, soft, soft. Unusual but very pleasant beer. 140604

Bottled. Cloudy amber coloured with an off white head. Fruity aroma with notes of wood and smoke. Fruity flavour with notes of wood and smoke. Watery palate. Must be the thinnest beer from Unibroue.

Bottled. Very lively beer. Hazy murky reddish brown colour with big off/white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some syrup as well as quite grassy, flowery and fruity hops. Mild notes of smoke. Flavour is sweet malts, mild notes fruits, nectar, syrup and some wooden notes. The smokyness in this one is very close to non-existant. Instead this would be a very good Belgian Ale if you want to do it stylewise.

Golden color, stormy perlage, big head. Malty and spicy aroma; carbonic gas. In the front, it's very simple, but it reveals an original character later: very light smokey, light maltiness, very light liquorice. Quite dry; it has a low profile yeast as often for Unibroue.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2007 Bottle. Golden color if you don’t pour it all, unclear and cloudy if you pour the sediments too. Light, beige head. Quite fizzy beer, but not long-lasting head. Aroma is fruity/yeasty with malts and a smoked element. Aroma is much of the same, but the smoke is more dominant. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Finish is mostly fruity, and with bitterness at the end.
