Maybe I shouldn’t but I do only because they want to use this brewery to gain greater access to the great beer consumption country of Quebec. That aside - Pours a thin, quick-dissipating white head and a cloudy, orange amber-body. Peach and floral hops nose. Good flavours for a Belgian Stong: citrus and cloves with slight notes of vanilla.

This is a really unique, slightly sour beer. I like it a lot. Great with cheese!

Bottle shard with friends. Nose is light Belgian yeast, citrus, tons of toffee and caramel. Pour is cloudy, murky, brown. Flavor is sweet toffee and caramel with a hint of fruitiness. Very nice and different from the typical Unibroue.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma has some floral notes and some spiciness. Some alcohol smells and fruitiness can be detected aswell. The taste is very sweet with a bitterness on the end. Some sweet belgian sugar notes are here too. The appearance is a cloudy yellow/gold with a nice lace head .

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy honey colour with a two finger creme coloured head. From the nose, it is indeed a Unibroue product. The Unibroue yeast is up front with light strawberry jam notes, dark bread, citrus, and spice. Taste is sweet with mineral notes, light raspberry jam, spice, and dark bread up front that leads into some alcohol burn, dark rye crisps, and light sponge toffee in a mineral heavy, bread crust-like bitter finish. It’s tasty stuff, but it’s a little too sweet. Small complaint though. More great stuff from Unibroue.

February 1, 2014. 750mL bottle from LCBO. Characteristic Unibroue aroma and flavour. Biscuits, bit of citrus, touch of caramel. Lovely brown colour with white head that dissipated quickly. Pretty good. Not my favourite from Unibroue.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A beautiful hazy orange and golden body with a fizzy off white head. The nose is citrusy and estery with light notes of banana, cloves and apples. Mild toasted malts with a light crisp mouthfeel. The finish is moderate and a bit bland with a tad of Belgian flavour. Overall, a good brew but a bit bland.

really noticed the assorted citrus. Kind of malty during the aftertaste. Better than most from unibroue but not a standout

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a nice hazy orange colour with a foamy white head. Aroma is yeasty, esters, grain, biscuit, floral hops, spice. The flavour more or less suit, heavy on the bread and grain notes, mixed with some spice, and orange citrus hops. Not bad, but there are better options.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
341ml bottle. Clear copper-amber body, small white head, average retention. Aroma of spices and Unibroue yeast, caramel, honey, citrus and some booze. Harsh taste: caramel, yeast, spices, herbal hops, booze. Oily. Slightly disappointing.
