3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml corked & caged bottle. Clear first pour, orange copper, foamy off-white head slowly settles and lasts. Yeasty, spicy fruity aroma. Taste is fruity, some citrus and the usual yeast strain, lightly spiced, clove and coriander, light floral hops and some noticeable caramel malt behind. Lively carbonation and lighter bodied. Second pour is hazy with yeast sediment. Another well made fruity Belgian style ale. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

3oz sampler from the Loose Moose in Toronto. Hints of floral and citrus. Reminds me of the dieu du ciel rose d’hibiscus.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It pours hazy dark rust coloured; the head is bone coloured and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: cloves, citrus-zest, coriander, pepper, and yeast funk. The taste is medium sour/tart/sweet that finishes medium bitter/astringent; there are notes of: orange-zest, coriander, cloves, pepper, and slight grassy hop tones. The palate is full-bodied, has a huge creamy mouth-feel (heavy carbonation), and a long spicy finish. Overall, quite good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy orange-amber with appreciable carbonation, beige frothy head with no retention. Mild earthy citrus hops, nutty, subtly toasty malts in a musty cloud of pine to the nose. Flavour is fully complex with sweet hints of vanilla, cedar, pear and citrus. Dry yet malty finish. Very lively in mouth from the carbonation. Alcohol present but well balanced with flavours.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy amber sort of colour with an almost white head that leaves a solid layer of lace. A lot of spice and yeast on the nose with some latent fruit notes. Different on the palate; caramel and cinnamon with some other spice and a light cooked citrus fruit note. Finishes a little warm.
