3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a small personality beer that screams unibroue with the unmistakable unibroue yeast taste and aroma. Mild citrus, orange peel and coriander. Certainly pleasant if you enjoy unibroue, but lacks the personality of the majority of their roster. Better than most, sub par for unibroue.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml caged corked bottle - pours a cloudy amber -copper colored ale in the glass with a 3 finger off-white cap. Gorgeous spicy-Belgian funk aroma ith succulent fruit tones. effervescent-peppery mouth feel, med-light bodied, spicy-fruity character. Sturdy malt-hop fusion in the front is joined by a (pear/apple)fruity-yeasty-earthiness mid palate...yeasty funky finish with a ripe-fruit/malt after taste. First rate Belgian ale...one of their best offerings

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle from Coop. Beautiful orangey-amber colour, with a generous head. Medium high carbonation. Nose is citrus, spices, coriander, mild toffee and vanilla.. Full bodied for a lighter belgian, great balance between sweetness, unibroue yeastiness, and a mild floral, piney hop character. Cool beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear dirty amber colour, with a minimal head. Aroma notes include Unibroue yeast, apricot, pear, dried fruit, Sherry, and pastry. Tasting notes include fig, liquorice, nutty, slightly herbal, and a sweet dry finish. Nice brew! Would pair well with a hearty stew and pumpernickel!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Caramel, banana, orange and yeast on the nose. Clear dark copper with a bubbly white head. Cloves dominate with other spices, dark malts and caramel with a yeasty finish. A little over carbonated, but I love cloves and would drink again and again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from 341mL bottle. Orange-brown colour with full white head. Malty spice aroma (very typical Unibroue). Frothy texure, belgian yeast flavour with some spice, but pretty mild. Not a ton of complexity going on here.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750mL bottle lckbo. Pours a darkish amber with a huge beige head. The aroma is full of citrus, Unibroue yeast and the essence of Quebec. Flavour is even better with some decent malt character that almost seems like a bock, with a ton of dry yeast in the finish to balance the sweetness. I think I might be getting overly-sensitive to yeasty dryness on the palate as there is a lot here but I wouldn’t call it objectively a flaw. No booze at all which is a plus. Not overly complex but a solid beer from a reliable, albeit predictable brewery.
