UPDATED: JUN 19, 2013 purchased at LCBO in a 750ml bottle. Unibroue always making excellent Belgian style beers and i found this beer well balanced and more enjoyable in quantity. Great beer!

Poured from 341mL bottle. Orange-brown colour with full white head. Malty spice aroma (very typical Unibroue). Frothy texure, belgian yeast flavour with some spice, but pretty mild. Not a ton of complexity going on here.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750mL bottle lckbo. Pours a darkish amber with a huge beige head. The aroma is full of citrus, Unibroue yeast and the essence of Quebec. Flavour is even better with some decent malt character that almost seems like a bock, with a ton of dry yeast in the finish to balance the sweetness. I think I might be getting overly-sensitive to yeasty dryness on the palate as there is a lot here but I wouldnít call it objectively a flaw. No booze at all which is a plus. Not overly complex but a solid beer from a reliable, albeit predictable brewery.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2013 Pours a caramel colour with white, bubbley head that lingers. Carbonation can be seen rising. Smells slightly of citrus and yeast. Tastes slightly slightly sweet with hints of caramel, spice, and ripe fruit. As it warms you can taste slight banana. Good carbonation. A tamer maudite. Not as much alcohol on the finish. A great Unibroue

Hazy amber orange pour with medium sized off white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, coriander and spices. Taste of Unibroue yeast, sweet malts, coriander, cinnamon and dough. Higher carbonation, full bodied and a very dry finish. Good but not my fave Unibroue beer.

Draught pour at Finn McCools -- why Iím here I donít know -- after a Jayís game. Pours cloudy busted nose red with a thin frosty cap. Janice says she doesnít know what it tastes like but she likes it. And so do I.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml corked Unibroue bottle. Has an orange-bright gold body with minimal carbonation and an okay but not very dense antique white head. Aroma is typical Belgian ale coriander and malt sweetness. Flavour is heavy coriander with a hint of swampiness and a bitter finish. A bit of a harsher style Belgian ale than I expected but definitely drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I was kind of dissapointed with this one. Is has a few flavours of wheat, orange, and dough. Flavours completly leave at the end with hardly any aftertaste. Extremely dry finish, to dry for me. One of the lesser Unibroue products Iíve tried, but still worth a try.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy dark golden with a medium off-white head and little lacing. Aroma is of Unibroue yeast, malt, spices and light citrus. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet along with yeast, spices, malt and light fruity notes. Medium body. Good carbonation. Balance is ok. Good beer, but I donít see what it add to Unibroueís beer line-up.
