4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Fatty for this...
Appears an orange/peach amber with a small white cap. No lacing.
Smell is a complex aroma with bubble gum, light mulling spice, tropical fruit, vanilla. This is a chameleon that changes more and more with each whiff.
Taste is of the same complex aromas.
Mouthfeel is smooth, sweet, and well rounded, along with a candy sugar likeness that kicks mucho butt.
Drinkability is so nice that it’s hard to follow up with anything else.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Fatty. Pours an orange amber with a large bubbly head that went away quickly. Aroma of yeast, spices, bubblegum, bananna and some darker fruits. Lots of bubbles up front on the tongue. A little more difficult to describe the flavor, some spices that I cannot pinpoint but very enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared thanks to Fatty. Poured a medium orange/amber with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of yeast, vanilla, light spices, bubblegum, and vanilla. I got different aromas everytime I smelled this one. Tastes of caramel, light vanilla, spices, and flowers. Medium sweet. Lively body with a clean and crisp finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is warm amber with a thin tan head...smell is warm and deeply sweet...perfumey vanilla and flowers...taste is just a bit sweet with some nice citrus notes...finish is a little dry, but with some underlying sweetness still...average, but seems different than most Uni’s...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bought this 75cL bottle in Montreal back at Easter, and it aged rather nicely despite all the moving around. Sweet musky melon, banana esters, some wheat and citrus. Deep alcohol and sugary aromas. Nice nose. Warm glowing deep amber with brown, cloudy, with thin off-white lacing head. Medium heavy watery body, not quite thick, with medium smooth carbonation. Alcohol warming. Starts sweet, with nice estery fruity notes. heavy on sweet malts, like a weizenbock, with just a bit of orangy tang in the finish. good dry bitterness offsets the sugary sweetness, keeping it from becoming cloying. dry orange peel bitter finsih and after, with nice malty sweetness that remains.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy orange-amber w/ a large, rocky off-white head. Spicy, citrusy aroma w/ notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla & that typical unibroue house character. Full-bodied, effervescent feel. Spicy, malty, slightly fruit flavour w/ a dry, peppery finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bronze color, tan head, light lacing. Nose of sweet plum, coriander, belgian yeast, candi sugar, citrus peel, etc. The flavor is doughy with light bitterness, acidic yeast, lots of rough "belgianness". Lightly acidulated. Good beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, thanks jerc. Dark Orange with small white head. Typical Unibroue yeast aroma, with hints of spiciness and citrus. Strong malt taste, and very strong spices and yeast as well. Very flavourful and balanced. Hides alcohol extremely well. Maybe just a tad watery, otherwise, excellent.

07.10.05 750ml bottle at Forquet Forchette, RBSG tour. Props to Oakes for having the presence of mind to ask for this (it wasn’t on the menu) as the rest of us were pretty shot from the day of cider after cider. Orange-golden pour. Big tan head, orange tinged. Aroma is pungent, some tomato, apple butter, mango, ginger. Even and balanced. Something sort of tingly like a dime, but definitely not metallic. Weird. Nice. Plain. Made me gassy, or was that the eight hours of cider and beer preceding?
