COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strong Belgian type ale similar to a Port wine ! Is as dark as can be, mellow in taste with an aroma of ripe fruits. It can be compared to an old porto and is brewed from well roasted malt.

Words can’t describe this beer. You have to taste it to believe it.

A very fine ale with a lot to offer as far as complexity and depth of character. Very well balanced with a STRONG taste of ripe prunes and a nice warming port-like finish. This breweries finest.

Very full flavored and full bodied. Aromas of bread, yeast, light alcohol and spices. Flavors of cherries and apricots with yeast, a healthy malt presence and a dry finish. Yeast chunks floating in a rich, mahogony brew under a tan head. Quite nice.

Very rocky tannish head with a lovely maple brown appearance. Very peppery on the palate. Aromas of bread and molasses. Hints of cinnamon and cane sugar flavors.

Very interesting beer and quite unique. Mine is a dark ruby red with a mild head. Cloves, spiciness, yeast and sweet fruity tastes are present. At first I could also really taste the alcohol. I also get the sensation of grapefruit, other fruits. I’d like to try this one again in the future, maybe let it rest for a while in my cellar.

Bizzare grape juice aroma and flavour, quite sweet with little aftertaste. Tastes unlike any beer I know. I’d like to give one about 6 months in the cellar, to see if it becomes a little smoother.
