Hopper (277), San Antonio, Texas, USA Oct 6, 2009 A dark reddish-brown beer with a small head with an evenly placed amount of small bubbles streaming up the glass like small strings of pearls. The aroma is very fruity with a little bit of funk. The taste is dark fruit, more funk, & a carbonated mouthfeel. This is complex flavors going down very smooth & absolutely no taste of alcohol. This beer is very alive in the glass & my favorite from Unibroue. WVHouseofBeer (339), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA Oct 5, 2009 Leo’s South Point, OH - This brew rounds out my Unibroue spree and I’m glad I saved the best for last. A nice tan head gives way to delicate fruit and spice aroma. A dark brown color permeates a nutty, cinnamon, and fruit taste that makes up for the lightly carbonated body. This beer is better than the La Terrible, thus it deserves a slight nod for a higher rating. cgreb (173), Marburg, Germany Sep 28, 2009 bottle - hazy brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of fruits like grapefruit. Strong and complex flavour, sweet and yeasty. Alcohol detectable. evergreen0199 (259), London, Greater London, England Sep 28, 2009 Bottle. A nice warming Belgian style beer. dkingsella (85), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 22, 2009 Nice beer. Pours a near black with a huge head that dissipated quickly.
