341ml bottle. Clear highlighter yellow colour, small white head. Faint aroma of citrus and herbal hops. Slight citrus taste. Like an extremely light lager version of a Belgian ale with grain, citrus and coriander. Thinnish body. Overall, meh.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 UM02 (268) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 8, 2013
Thin cereal tasting watery beer that tastes like most of the similar macro brewery offerings of this nature. Sad to see an otherwise fine brewery produce something like this. Some other microbreweries produce this type of beer to attract the mass market consumer who wants a very light bland tasting beer and do manage to do produce beers that are not great but a bit better than the macros. This one is just as bad as Molson and Labatt products.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 VincentDamon (149) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 28, 2013

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 dandeman (213) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 24, 2012
Aroma: Very slight herbal accents with unpleasant meat notes. Also some cereal but aroma is not sticking out much.
Appearance: Very pale blond with greenish glints; very clear. Little sparkling head disappearing fast and leaving no lacing.
Taste: Attack is sparkling and fizzy but no flavor is sticking out. Some sort of burnt weed, meat and ether notes are showing up at finish.
This beer is totally tasteless and it’s a good thing that bad flavors are not sticking out too much. Just drinkable. Limit

pours clear very light golden with a decent white head, some retention. some sweet malts, light herbal notes. almost aggressive carbonation, light body, no finish. bland + not a pilsner. still, not horrible.

Bouteille 341 ml. 4.9%. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche. Correct

Bottle at a party, offered to me. This was an effort by one of my friends to branch out from macro lagers.......man, i didnt have the heart to tell him he bought some nasty sleeman macro swill. But it shows hes been listening to my ramblings about unibroue having some really nice beers. Anyways......what can i say? Corny, sweet, cheap, blech!

Originally came out in 1998 as the Unibroue U. Use to be skunky (kind of competing the Stella Artois) and gave me headaches. Now, called the Unibroue U Blonde, the skunk seems to be gone and the beer seems cheaper brewed. Really competing the swill market here in Canada, but not really winning much. Big white head, frothy, good retention with lots of lacing. Golden colour with average carbonation. Hay scent, on the malty side (but not the grain I like). Same thing for the taste. I prefered it when it was skunky and Unibroue still made it. Not even a Pils anymore. Too close to their Sapporo (which is am no longer fond of as well).
