speedywinger (21), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Apr 22, 2008 Bottle from Quebec. Small white head on a clear golden body. Aroma of light malts, corn, apple and grass. Flavor of lightly sweet malts, corn. Not much aftertaste at all. Not offensive but nothing exciting here. Probably better than most of the big macro pilsners, but only slightly. Light to medium slightly dry palate.
Cartoon_khaki (1113), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Mar 29, 2008 Time to taste how Unibroue makes it’s beers "more accessible" first off why even try!!
Gold coloured body with white head that laces around the rim of the glass. Aroma is light malts with some grassy hay. Flavour is very mild... there is nothing really to note about it other then being inoffensive. Mild malty sweet and very bland bitterness. Nothing really. Body is light but not that watery. GregClow (2319), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 17, 2008 Bottle from a random depanneur in Montreal. Light golden with a good sized snow white cap of foam. Mild aroma of bland malt and slightly herbal hops. Thin body with a sticky finish. Flavour is quite sweet, with notes of icing sugar, and a faintly hopped finish. Bland, inoffensive, mainstream - everything Unibroue isn’t supposed to be. Meh. ABUSEDGOAT (1900), California, USA Jan 1, 2008 WTF is this? Clear golden, diminishing head. Aroma is grainy with pale malts. Light bodied, overcarbonated. Why bother? VeloVampire (383), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 4, 2007 341 ml bottle - poured clear light gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, some corn and that’s about it. Some Euro-hops in the mouth, but pretty sweet and mainstream. Unibroue’s worst offering that I’ve tried, definitely their "gettin’ money" beer. Ehhhhhhh.......
