very similar to Unibroue U, but a little more flavour. has some of that normal unibroue flavour, but its more hidden in this one.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
[bottle] A good pilsner (although Iím not really a fan of the style). Not as intense as other Uniís, this one has a strange funk to it. I had trouble drinking one full bottle.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Surprisingly smooth pilsner with a great malt. A bit of funk to it as well. The amber colour is pleasant and the head is a bit carbonated. Could use a bit more. A different touch to the typical spicy unibroue.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle pours orangish amber, small white fizzy head, lively carbonation, with spotty lacing. † Slight malt on the nose, but fairly grainy. † Hints of oats or hay as well. † Comes across as a very light Marzen, but not quite malty enough. † Medium body and mouthfeel. † Not very crisp either. † Fairly grainy on the finish. † Not my idea of a Pilsner, but perhaps a watered down Marzen. † Thanks goes out to mattbob for sharing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This must be the big brother of "U". poured a copper-amber in my pilsner flute. Lighter carbonation...small bubbles..natural. Small off white head goes to a ring quickly. Nose is substantially caramel malts and fresh saaz hops. Mouthfell is silky, toasty caramel malts balance well with the saaz flavor. Moderate finish with slight toasted grain decernment....a pretty good rendition of a pilsner style with some nice twists...caramel toasty malts give better flavor...more wet finish...infused saaz hops give flavor and bouquet without bittering.....a nice departure from the norm in the pilsner style and years ahead of the mega pils.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle: Pours an amber coloured body with white fizzy heady that disappears quickly. Aroma is sknky with slight grapes. Taste is bitter slight corn, not much there. Slightly malty as well. A little dissapointing Unibroue, you have all these good beers, and yet this one is just not right!

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Thanks to TIGGMTL for the opportunity to try this!
Bottle- Pours a dark amber body, darker than U for sure. Head is fizzy and short lived, and off white in colour. Aroma is corn, skunky, faint sugar. Not good. Taste is lacking in all areas. Faint corn, hops and some malt present but mostly it tastes like fizzy corn hop water. Fizzy mouthfeel, no aftertaste. I think Unibroueís intentions are always good, but this is just not good. Avoid.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not bad. I dont like it but you might. Bottle. Pours pale goldish red, almost non exzistant thin white head thatís gone in seconds. early nose is skunky, quickly disapates to a sweet rubbing alcohol. mouthfeel is thin, soda like carbonation. taste is of sweet malt, caramel, sweet corn, tiny hop hiding in the corner. Aftertaste is syrupy, sweet, and just a hint of corn. This one is probably just the standard U pilsner with a touch of roasted barley added into the finishing hops. A more flavourfull lager, but Iím not shure that flavour is plesant. Cheers

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours light orange amber with a slight haze and some dark sediment. Initially skunked aroma aired off before pouring. Sweet grassy light caramel, lemony candy and toothpaste nose. Hard to distinguish this from any macro. Some yeast and a dull citrus finish. Average at best.
