Clear amber color, light head. Nice nose. The flavor is creamy, balanced, rich. Nose of fig, caramel, lagerish. Light hops, dry acidic, not that good but drinkable.

Perhaps the Unibroue glass I grabbed contbributed to my rating, but I found this to be pretty solid. Rich copper amber colour with a lasting frothy white head - contrary to what many seem to have experienced. Sweet and malty with grassy notes - although perhaps a touch skunky...clear bottle blues??? Pleasant caramel sweetness but no hop edge to it, which I wanted to help cut it somewhat. Not bad, but clearly not great - either as a Pilsener or a Unibroue beer.

Short-lived, yellowish head, heavy carbonation keeps a disparate ring on top of the orange-copper clear beer. Quite malty nose, accentuated by some oxidation (beer ought not to be old), bit grassy as well. Flavours/aroma’s ar oxyized and skunked as well - stupid clear glass bottles. Very malty, even some caramel, but nary any sweetness, which is surprising. Gradually a build-up from a grassy flavour. Light body, not refreshing. This is a misfit for Unibroue. One thing: it reflects my opinion on a certain pretentious music group. If that was the idea, they’ve succeeded.

341 ml bottle. Copper amber colour with a fully diminishing fizzy and frothy off-white head. Caramel, grassy, and fruity aroma. Caramel and almond flavours with a floral and lightly spicy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, dry and very fizzy mouthfeel.

very similar to Unibroue U, but a little more flavour. has some of that normal unibroue flavour, but its more hidden in this one.

[bottle] A good pilsner (although I’m not really a fan of the style). Not as intense as other Uni’s, this one has a strange funk to it. I had trouble drinking one full bottle.

Surprisingly smooth pilsner with a great malt. A bit of funk to it as well. The amber colour is pleasant and the head is a bit carbonated. Could use a bit more. A different touch to the typical spicy unibroue.

Bottle pours orangish amber, small white fizzy head, lively carbonation, with spotty lacing.   Slight malt on the nose, but fairly grainy.   Hints of oats or hay as well.   Comes across as a very light Marzen, but not quite malty enough.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Not very crisp either.   Fairly grainy on the finish.   Not my idea of a Pilsner, but perhaps a watered down Marzen.   Thanks goes out to mattbob for sharing.

This must be the big brother of "U". poured a copper-amber in my pilsner flute. Lighter carbonation...small bubbles..natural. Small off white head goes to a ring quickly. Nose is substantially caramel malts and fresh saaz hops. Mouthfell is silky, toasty caramel malts balance well with the saaz flavor. Moderate finish with slight toasted grain decernment....a pretty good rendition of a pilsner style with some nice twists...caramel toasty malts give better flavor...more wet finish...infused saaz hops give flavor and bouquet without bittering.....a nice departure from the norm in the pilsner style and years ahead of the mega pils.
