This generously hopped pale ale is a strike in your mouth! Brewed with lots of Pacific Northwest & New Zealand hops this beer is ten frames of big citrus and tropical fruit aroma and flavor. A strong malt backbone rounds it out and makes this pale ale a delight for the senses. The pins may be small but the flavor is huge! In our town, we roll Duckpin—a true Baltimore original.

Hazy golden body under a thick foamy white head. Big hop nose, pine resin, grapefruit and lime. Balanced flavor, plenty of PNW hops with just enough malts to keep it sessionable. Flavor lingers long and peppery with tart citrus. ~~~~ 12 oz. can, purchased "somewhere in Baltimore" (according to my wife).

a true Baltimore original, apparently .. . amber .. mild head, good easy lacing .. mouth has a bit of teen strength .. finish has a bit of it going on but laid back .. i’d drink this if i was a duck who bowls; and i’m picturing a bowler hat. it’s kinda a dream of mine.

Bright gold appearance with a large, cream colored head and good lacing. Aroma of straw overshadowed by floral, fruity hops. Crisp, dry, bitter flavor that has the traditional pale ale underpinnings. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Competes favorably against better known breweries with a wider distribution network. Actually prefer this in a can as opposed to on tap.

Can or bottle(?):Moderate dry grapefruity-herbal nose, cough-syrup and malt in the background; dryish bitter flavour with a slight residual sweetness, light to medium bodied; lingering herbal and grapefruity finish, hops stickin’ to the tongue. A good session brew…

Draft. Dark copper color. Flavor is big tangerine hop-smack, with more tangerine. Starts old-school bitter, but some sweetness pokes through, probably with the help of some doughy gingerbready maltiness. Lots of flavor for 5.3%.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of fruity and floral hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a pretty nice hoppiness. Average texture. A pretty good pale ale.
