COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This generously hopped pale ale is a strike in your mouth! Brewed with lots of Pacific Northwest & New Zealand hops this beer is ten frames of big citrus and tropical fruit aroma and flavor. A strong malt backbone rounds it out and makes this pale ale a delight for the senses. The pins may be small but the flavor is huge! In our town, we roll Duckpin—a true Baltimore original.

Can. Orange body with hints of amber and a half inch of head. Citrusy aroma with a touch of grass. Mild earthy character with cracker & biscuit malt notes. Fairly balanced, in favor of hops. Juicy and relatively light in body with zesty carbonation. Decent.

12 ounce can I got from a good buddy...Robert A. Thanks! I could smell the pine as soon as I pulled the tab on the can. It’s a slightly hazy honey gold colour with a firm 1" head of foam. It started off bigger but refuses to get smaller. Smell? I already covered that above. ;^) The taste is as piney as any I’ve had in a Pale Ale with more than a hint of some tropical fruit going on in the background. I get a bit of bready malt but nothing that I would remotely call sweet. As in sugary sweet, not as in sweeeet, this brew is good. Perfecto mouthfeel, this is one heck of a delicious hop forward Pale Ale!

Can pour - clean gold with a medium sized white head that fades quickly. Aroma is quite bold...fresh citrus hops with some floral notes on the side...mild biscuit note in the background. Flavor is hop-forward, aggressive, but in a good way...the tropical fruit hops dominate, with some grassy hops and a slight malt backbone in there. Palate is lively and solid. Good offering - would like to try more from this brewery down the road!

Location: 12 oz can from a Harris Teeter in Baltimore, 11/11/14

Aroma: The nose has citrus and tropical fruity notes, some pale malts, and a little pepper/spice
Appearance: Its orange in color, mostly cloudy, with a small off-white head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: Clean and hoppy, with some fruity flavors, a light sweetness, and a clean, mid-bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, pretty easy drinking, with average carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I picked up a 6-pack of this for the hotel room, and it made for a nice, drinkable pale ale. Didn’t finished the whole pack, so I saved this one for a real time rate. I enjoyed this.

Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has nice floral hoppiness...soft melon and kiwi. Flavor follows suit...nice earthy/rindy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and slightly resinous with a dry earthy/bitter finish that hints at cracker/biscuity notes. Very nice.
