3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Cardinal Tavern Baltimore, Conical Pint, $5. Pours clear deep golden with lower white foam. Decent meringue lacing. Nose is orange peel, nutty, bready, flaxseed. Taste isnít too heavy, not sticky, not too nutty, lots of flaxseed, high orange peel bitterness. Long grassy hop bite. Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"slightly fruity aroma and flavor from the NZ hops, but ample bitterness and citrus for the style as well. Not too shabby all-around from this seemingly hit and miss brewery. "

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, light pine, and a touch of lemon peel. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a one finger eggshell head that has decent retention. A nice soapy sheet is left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus with some lightly sweet apricot. The finish has light-moderate grapefruit, lighter pine, and a touch of lemon peel. Itís light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, a really solid Pale Ale that would be great to drink on a regular basis out of cans in the summer if it was available here. Iím really surprised by the average score.

From can. Really nice hoppy aroma. A bit of orange and apricot, pine resin. Medium amber clear with haze, topped with off-white foamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts moderately dry with light malt sweetness. Light biscuit. Carbonic acidity and fizzy tang. Big hop bitter throughout with bitter finish and after.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. can, given to me by a fellow vacationer, up here in Maine. To solo cup. Pours amber with a one finger off white head. Nicely balanced aroma of citrus hops and pale malts. Flavor is loaded with citrus and tropical fruits flavors. Hops are most definitely there, but not in your face. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Quite tasty.

This was really good and I wasnít expecting much. Big citrus and pine aroma. Aroma followed through to the taste. Could have this in my regular rotation. Very enjoyable.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden and lightly copper coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright floral and perfumey hops with a good kick of malt and alcohol, but the hops really are front and centre in a good way! Light-bodied; Deep hop flavour at first that gives way immediately to a cardboardie malt and some light fake sugar flavours with a hint of peaches and pears at the finish. Aftertaste shows only some of the hops, but unfortunately more of a floral and herbal kick than anything else with the plain funky malt and not much else in the supporting cast. Overall, a great smelling beer, but after that, it goes downhill, Not a horrible option to try, but donít expect too much from this one! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), DC on 04-April-2014 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 12-July-2014.
