Pint at Alewife. Pours hazy dark copper with a long lasting white head. Great aroma on this: pungent with citrusy hops and a strong rye quality. Rye is full bodied in the flavor too with loads of lemony hops highlighting everything. I like that the rye is full flavored and the hops don’t lack any strength either. Very well done.

Tap at Jacks of Baltimore. Pours a full haze orange. Webby lacing. Nose is potpourri, sharp grain, oat bran. Taste is very sharply herbal with sage and spearmint, potpourri flowers, approaching chemical. Quite bitter. Very sharp. Some oat bran character in the background. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice deep copper/red pour. Aroma of hops and rye. Head was about 1 finger and off white. Lacing was very nice throughout the beer. Hoppy taste up front but not too much bitterness, the rye put a dry finish on that cut the acidity in the hops. Good mouthfeel as it was not too thick but was defiantly something to it.
